If It All Falls Down

You built your empire out of telling everyone to be afraid
And look how far you came
Now that the love begins die down
Don't want to lie down in the bed you made
And now you seem dismayed
Trapped in your own charade

If there's no one to blame
It doesn't feel the same
How will you light the flame

So now you've got to try and find another way
And figure out just what you're gonna say
'Cause everyone can hear quite a rumble
When the giant starts to stumble
And actors quite unlike those they portray
Are put out on display

If there's no one to blame
It doesn't feel the same
How will you light the flame

And when it falls apart
Can you pretend to have a heart

The ground that you laid
The endless tirade
The angry crusade
A great masquerade
For those you persuade
To those you degrade
And those you betrayed
For justice delayed
Now that you've been played
And you can't evade
Who comes to your aid

If there's no one to blame
It doesn't feel the same
How will you light the flame
If it all falls down
